Offline handoff checklists that survive shift change
Most handoff forms fail for a boring reason: they ask for twelve fields when the next driver is already late. An Offline Asset Movement Tracker checklist should protect custody truth without pretending the dock is a library.
Keep five verbs, not fifteen statuses
Loan, transfer, return, scrap, and temporary park cover nearly every argument we hear in Korea industrial yards. Extra statuses feel precise on paper and get ignored in gloves.
Pair people, not perfect timing
Two-person confirmation works when each person has a single job: one scans, one speaks the destination aloud. If your process requires both to type essays, it will collapse at shift change.
Flush before farewell
End-of-shift should include one offline queue flush — even if connectivity is weak. Partial sync with a timestamp beats a full sync that never happens.
